The seed for Book I sprouted when nine-year old Alex, read Book II of the trilogy The Magic Bubble and asked, “What happened to Oratio when he left to explore the Magic Empire?” That question sparked a shared journey into a magical world full of courage, friendship, and discovery. Together, Jeanne and Alex used their creative magic to shape Oratio’s epic adventure through seven kingdoms — a collaboration that became the heart of the trilogy. In this beautiful journey Alex has been sparking new ideas, developing unique characters, harrowing tales and creating the illustrations for each book.
Alex has loved reading and writing since age five. Since then, Alex’s love for writing took off in the fourth grade through an after-school writing club where his short classroom tales quickly turned into entire worlds bursting with brave heroes, funny characters and daring quests. He enjoys reading dystopian books and creative writing, focusing on essays about imaginative and adventurous stories.
